Midnight Update: We are mostly clear and will stay that way as we head into our Sunday morning. Humidity remains low for now, but will increase Sunday afternoon.

As of midnight, temperatures have fallen into the mid 60s to low 70s, with Lexington at 71 degrees. We are on our way to the low 60s thanks to our lower humidity.

Forecast: Skies will stay mostly clear Saturday night as temperatures fall into the low 60s for Sunday morning.

The heat continues Sunday afternoon, but we'll add the humidity and afternoon storms back in with it. Most areas will stay dry, but a few locations could see a quick storm. The rest of the day will bring a mix of sunshine and clouds with highs in the mid 80s.

The few storms that develop Sunday afternoon will quickly fade Sunday evening. We'll stay dry into the Monday morning commute, but the extra humidity will only let us drop into the mid 60s.

Another round of hit and miss storms is expected to develop Monday afternoon and continue into the early evening. Afternoon highs will be in the low 80s with more clouds than sunshine.

The cycle of scattered afternoon storms will continue through the rest of the workweek.
