Hot weather will continue today, with highs near 92°. Skies will be partly sunny, and some isolated thunderstorms will develop late in the day while other areas nearby stay dry. Tonight, lows will dip down to 68 with spotty, hit-or-miss showers and thunderstorms still possible after midnight as a cold front approaches. The front will produce scattered thunderstorms on Friday, and temperatures will be less hot, with highs near 86°. Saturday will be very pleasant and dry with low humidity and highs in the middle 80s. Most of Sunday will remain dry, but a thunderstorm or two will be possible on Sunday evening and into Monday as a second cold front crosses Kentucky. The middle of next week will be unseasonably cool with highs in the upper 70s.
