Another cloudless day will take temperatures to near 90° by lunchtime and peak in the mid 90s this afternoon.
The worsening drought conditions, low humidity, and a breezy westerly wind will elevate the fire danger across the region.
A Red Flag Warning is in effect through the day for all of central Kentucky.

Areawide upper 90° temperatures forecasted Friday and Saturday.
The humidity will also begin to climb, with hot and sticky conditions settling in.
On Friday there is the potential for a stray afternoon storm.
