Noon Update: We are still mostly sunny, but cumulus clouds have started to form and could eventually develop into a few spotty storms in the next hour.

Temperatures have made it well into the mid 80 as of the noon hour, with Lexington's Blue Grass Airport at 86.

Forecast:
We'll stay hot and muggy Monday afternoon with highs in the upper 80s. Most areas will stay dry with plenty of sunshine, but a few spotty storms are expected from the early afternoon to the early evening.

Tonight will be mostly clear and warm with temperatures dropping into the upper 60s for Tuesday morning.

Everyone will stay dry Tuesday afternoon with highs in the low 90s. If we do manage to hit 90, it will be the first time for Lexington since last September. Skies will be mostly sunny.

Our scattered afternoon storms return Wednesday and continue through the rest of the work week with highs staying near 90.
