High pressure has returned, and this is an extremely welcome change after two tornado outbreaks and our heaviest snow of the winter.  Skies will feature more sunshine than clouds over the next two days with temperatures recovering back closer to average for early March today, peaking in the lower 50s.  Wednesday will be even milder, with the continued help of an active breeze from the south.  Clouds will gather late on Wednesday and into Wednesday night, and a low pressure system will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to the area for Thursday and Friday morning.  After a brief break, another round of showers and thunderstorms will occur late on Saturday evening into Sunday and Monday as a series of disturbances cross Kentucky from the west.  After reaching the lower 60s on Wednesday and Thursday, highs will be in the 50s from Friday into early next week.
