Midnight Update: We are still tracking a few showers along I-64 between Mount Sterling and Owingsville and areas north. They are weakening, but are still producing some moderate rainfall.
Most temperatures are now in the mid 70s with Lexington at 77°.
Meteorologist Michael Estime will update you on our rain chances starting at 5 a.m. on Good Morning Kentucky.
We hit 90° in Lexington Tuesday afternoon, but the high humidity made it feel more like the mid 90s.
A few isolated showers have popped up. While few areas are seeing the rain, these showers are dropping heavy rain and moving slowly, which could cause some minor flooding. All rain will end late this evening.
Due to the muggy conditions, temperatures will only be able to fall into the low 70s overnight with partly cloudy skies.
In the afternoon, we will see a mix of sun and clouds with afternoon highs near 90°. The high humidity will make it feel more like the mid 90s again during the day. A few pop-up showers and storms are possible after noon and into the evening, but many areas will remain dry.
