A cold front pushing through Kentucky is kicking off a number of scattered showers and storms this evening. The main threat with these storms will be heavy rain, dangerous lightning, and gusty winds. The slow-moving storms with heavy rain could create some flash flooding.

By early Tuesday morning, we will dry out and skies will continue to clear out. Temperatures will drop into the low 60s by the Tuesday morning commute.

Mostly sunny skies will dominate Tuesday afternoon. Thanks to our cold front, temperatures will only climb into the upper 70s with lower humidity.

We will remain comfortable Wednesday with highs near 80° and continuing mostly sunny conditions.
