Foggy conditions will continue to reduce visibilities this morning across Kentucky, but by your lunch break, we should be seeing mostly sunny skies. This will help temperatures climb into the mid 80s for the afternoon.
An area of storms will develop this afternoon to our north. If it holds together long enough, northern and eastern Kentucky could pick up a quick shower overnight. The rest of us will stay dry tonight with temperatures only dropping to near 70° by Wednesday morning.
Wednesday could be the hottest day of the year so far in Lexington. We will see a mix of sun and clouds with afternoon highs in the low 90s. A few scattered storms will also be possible in the afternoon.
A cold front will bring more storms Thursday along with some slightly cooler weather.
