Evening and Overnight Storms

Evening and Overnight Storms

Ahead of a cold front thunderstorms have developed in the region and will continue through the evening. The threat for storms will continue through Friday morning when a cold front arrives.
Widespread rain and thunderstorms have developed across the region, but the threat for evening severe thunderstorms should remain across northern Kentucky. Any strong storms may have large hail and damaging winds. Also, Flash Flooding will continue to be a concern with storms that move slowly and produce heavy rain.

Along a cold front tonight a line of storms will likely push into the region from the west. A few storms along the cold front may be strong to severe when they arrive Friday morning.

Storms will push east Friday in the late morning and a dry afternoon is expected Friday afternoon under mostly cloudy skies. The winds will be out of the west at 5 to 12 mph as temperatures only peak in the mid 70s.

An evening passing shower will be possible in northern Kentucky Friday evening, but the rest of the region should be dry.
Cool and comfortable conditions will continue this weekend with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s and overnight temperatures in the 50s.
