A Fire Weather Watch is in effect for Eastern Kentucky for Tuesday afternoon and evening.

A Freeze Watch is in effect for Central and Eastern Kentucky for Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

In the wake of a cold front, temperatures will quickly fall into the 30s tonight.
Mornings and afternoons will be a good 10-15 degrees below average over the next few nights and feel more like March.
Despite cooler temperatures, low dewpoints and breezy winds will create enhanced wildfire conditions Tuesday afternoon.
The chilliest stretch will occur on Tuesday night and Wednesday, when temperatures will bottom out around the freezing mark and only recover to 52 during the afternoon.
Temperatures will recover into the 70s this weekend, with only some isolated showers and thunderstorms returning from Friday into Sunday.
