High pressure begins to slide east of the Ohio River Valley allowing for a few more clouds Sunday afternoon.
As more moisture noses into southern Kentucky, a shower or two is possible, especially along the TN/KY and VA/KY borders.
Otherwise most will be dry with temperatures remaining in the mid to upper 70s.
Monday and Tuesday will feature mostly cloudy skies and more scattered to widespread showers as a cold front intercepts the extra moisture.
With the extra clouds, afternoon temperatures will be held in the low 70s Monday, and near 70° Tuesday.
High pressure will quickly build back in behind this strong cold front by Tuesday night.
Morning lows Wednesday and Thursday will be in the mid to upper 40s areawide.
Highs will feel more like October and struggle to get out of the 60s.
Another cold front will bring another round of showers late in the week.
