High pressure will bring dry skies to the forecast tonight through mid-week.
Under partly cloudy skies, temperatures will remain well above normal with records being challenged and even exceeded in some area.
Rain and storm chances return Wednesday and hang around through the weekend.
Temperatures will slowly begin to cool, as well, but still stay about 10 degrees above average by Sunday.
