Drizzle will end over the next few hours from west to east, with most of the action already limited to areas east of I-75. Low clouds remain stubborn across much of the region. Highs will be near 53. Temperatures will fall into the lower 30s tonight as drizzle ends in the mountains of far eastern Kentucky. High pressure will provide more sunshine than clouds on Friday, when highs will climb to near 50 degrees. A large low pressure system will cross the Southeastern US this weekend. After a dry start to Saturday, a rain / snow mix will develop on Saturday night and change over to snow late Saturday night into Sunday. A light to moderate snow accumulation is becoming POSSIBLE early on Sunday, although there still remain questions regarding the track and temperature. Stay tuned for more on the weekend system. High pressure will return with plenty of sunshine on Monday, and milder air will build back into Kentucky with rain showers accompanying low pressure late on Tuesday into Wednesday of next week.
