Drizzle is finally coming to an end in the mountains of eastern KY.
As cloud cover decreases this evening, temperatures will fall into the lower 30s.
Some patchy fog is possible Friday morning.
High pressure will provide more sunshine than clouds on Friday, when highs will climb to near 50 degrees.
A large low pressure system will cross the Southeastern US this weekend.
After a dry start to Saturday, a rain / snow mix will develop on Saturday night and change over to snow late Saturday night into Sunday.
A light to moderate snow accumulation is becoming POSSIBLE early on Sunday, although there still remain questions regarding the track and temperatures.
Stay tuned for more on the weekend system.
High pressure will return with plenty of sunshine on Monday, and milder air will build back into Kentucky with rain showers accompanying low pressure late on Tuesday into Wednesday of next week.
