Cool With Clearing Skies Thursday

Noon Update: Skies have greatly cleared over the last two hours with just a few thin clouds remaining. We'll stay mostly sunny through the rest of the afternoon.

Temperatures have climbed into the upper 30s in most areas. At the noon hour, Monticello had already hit 40°.

Forecast: Skies will begin to clear late Thursday morning, allowing for a mostly sunny afternoon. Temperatures will climb into the upper 30s during the day.

We have a chilly night ahead as we dip back into the mid 20s by Friday morning. Skies will remain mostly clear.

The sunshine sticks with us Friday afternoon as temperatures warm into the mid and upper 40s.

By Saturday afternoon, we are expecting highs in the low 50s.

More clouds and some rain will arrive Sunday, with the heaviest rainfall staying in eastern Kentucky.
