By the late afternoon and evening a weak trough approaching from the northwest will spark off a stray evening shower or storm, especially in the Bluegrass and northern Kentucky.
Partly cloudy skies will take temperatures down into the mid 50s with patchy valley fog.
Temperatures Sunday will climb into the upper 70s, closer to average.
Only a few isolated storms are again possible in the afternoon.
Cloud cover will increase late Sunday as a warm front lifts north toward the Tennessee Valley sparking scattered showers, mainly in south central Kentucky.
