We are in a very stable weather pattern for the moment, thanks in large part to an area of high pressure back to our west. This high will continue to move eastward over Kentucky on Sunday and maintain our mild conditions for another day.
Sunday will be sunny and just a bit warmer than Saturday. Highs will climb into the lower 80s. There's a chance of patchy fog early on Sunday, otherwise it will be clear into Sunday evening. Winds will be light out of the west.
On Monday, clouds will gradually increase as a warm front lifts out of the south and over our area. We'll be in the warm sector of that weather maker on Monday afternoon. That will push our temperatures up into the upper 80s. That will also bring some instability to the region. Because of that, there's a chance of a few showers and thunderstorms late on Monday, Monday and night and Tuesday morning.
A trailing cold front will pass over our area on Tuesday. That will help clear our skies and cool our temperatures again. It will be partly cloudy on Tuesday with highs right at 80 degrees.
Have a great rest of your weekend and start to your work week!
