Midnight Update: Skies have completely cleared across Kentucky tonight and will stay mostly clear into the Monday morning commute.
While we are dry, it is getting cold. As of midnight, most areas have fallen into the low and mid 30s, with Lexington now at 28°.
Forecast: We have a chilly, but dry morning commute for Monday, but it will be cold. Temperatures overnight will drop down into the low 20s. Hopefully you haven't packed up the winter coats already.
Monday afternoon will be a lot like Sunday with temperatures in the low and mid 40s again. Most areas will be just a couple degrees cooler. A majority of the day will be mostly sunny, but we could see a few more clouds late in the day.
Early Tuesday morning, snow showers will move into the region. At this time, it looks like everyone will see less than an inch of snow on the ground, but we could see a few slippery roads.
We'll be back above freezing Tuesday afternoon with highs in the mid 30s.
Thursday, we could return to 40° with the help of mostly sunny skies.
