Our scattered showers should come to an end late Saturday night with dry conditions continuing into Sunday morning. Temperatures overnight will fall into the mid 60s.

More clouds will start to build into the region Sunday afternoon and could produce a few scattered showers in the afternoon. Afternoon highs will be in the upper 70s. Our next cold front will arrive Sunday evening, bringing heavy rain and a few thunderstorms with strong, gusty winds. The front and its rain will move from west to east through Kentucky.

A few of the rain showers will still be in eastern Kentucky Monday morning, but Lexington will be dry by the Monday morning commute. We will start Monday in the low 50s and only make it into the low 60s in the afternoon with clearing skies.

Our fall-like weather will continue through the work week with mostly sunny skies.
