The high pressure that brought back sunshine on Thursday, will keep the skies clear through the overnight. With clear skies and light winds, temperatures will plummet into the low 20s. By Friday afternoon, the high pressure will exit the region to the east. Behind it, south winds and mostly sunny skies, will help temperatures climb into low 50s Friday afternoon. We'll start the weekend dry, as temperatures peak in the upper 50s Saturday, but by Sunday clouds and storms will return to the region.

Tonight:  Under mainly clear skies, temperatures will fall into the low 20s, the coldest temperatures of the season.  A hard freeze is expected area wide.  Winds: S 5-10 mph.  Low: 22.

Friday:  After a very cold start in the low 20s, temperatures will recover into the low 50s for the afternoon. Helping temperatures, south winds will return with mostly sunny skies.  Winds: S 8-15 mph.  High: 51.

Friday Night: The skies will remain mostly clear through the overnight, but with south winds increasing, temperatures will only dip into the low 30s. Winds: South 5-12 mph. Low: 32.

Saturday: After mostly sunny skies to start the morning, a few extra clouds will build in for the afternoon. Breezy south winds are also expected through the afternoon as temperatures climb back above average, with highs in the upper 50s. Winds: SSW 10-20 gusting 25 mph. High: 58.
