Most places will peak in the lower 50s this afternoon, and there are a few very limited sprinkles in northern and western parts of the area. It will remain mostly cloudy as a warm front crosses the Ohio Valley. On Wednesday, we'll climb all the way into the lower 60s. Widespread rain will accompany a strong cold front on Thursday, with around 1/2" likely in most areas. The final showers will exit to the southeast on Friday as colder air returns. The weekend will be mostly sunny and chilly with lows in the 20s and highs in the 40s. The next storm system will bring showers back into the forecast on Monday of next week.
