A Flood Warning is in effect for Whitley County, where the Cumberland River is rising to near flood stage.

Flood Advisories continue for Bell and Knox Counties along the Cumberland River, and also for Estill and Lee Counties, where the Kentucky River continues to run high.

After a slightly colder-than-average start to the weekend, high pressure will provide a beautiful weekend, with more sunshine than clouds.
High will peak in the middle 50s on Saturday and mid-60s on Sunday.
Scattered showers will return on Monday, tapering off on Tuesday morning.
A second disturbance will arrive late Wednesday into Thursday, sparking another round of scattered showers and even some thunderstorms.
Temperatures will soar into the lower 70s by midweek.
