Temperatures will hover in the upper 70s across most of central Kentucky, with readings just a few degrees cooler in eastern Kentucky due to extra clouds near West Virginia and Virginia this afternoon.  Central Kentucky should remain dry, but an isolated shower or two may occur in far southeastern Kentucky this afternoon.  Highs will be in the upper 70s, peaking near 78° in Lexington.  Tonight will feature clearing skies but patchy valley fog late, with lows around 54°.  A weak cold front will arrive from the north on Wednesday, sparking some isolated thunderstorms, but they will not impact all areas because moisture will be scarce.  Highs will reach the upper 70s again.  On Thursday and Friday, high pressure will arrive, providing dry weather for the Bluegrass Region.  A very isolated late-day thunderstorm will remain possible near the Tennessee and Virginia state lines, mainly over the mountains.  Temperatures will reach the lower to middle 80s from Saturday through Monday, and isolated thunderstorms will return to the forecast even for the lower elevations, thanks to increasing heat and humidity.
