Back into the 60s on Saturday as Rain Returns

Another band of rain will return on Saturday afternoon, especially for central Kentucky. But south winds will warm temperatures back into the mid to upper 60s to start the weekend.
It was a rainy start to our Friday, but only scattered clouds are expected this evening as temperatures remain very mild. Around midnight we'll drop off into the mid 50s, then overnight temperatures will warm back into the low 60s by early on Saturday. Only a stray shower or two is expected for the overnight.

The better chance for rain will be Saturday afternoon. South winds will return on Saturday as temperatures quickly climb. Highs will soar back into the upper 60s. Rainfall totals for central Kentucky on Saturday afternoon should total around 0.30"-0.50".

More rain is expected on Sunday when a cold front moves across the region. Widespread moderate to heavy intensity rain will drop another 0.40"-0.80". Temperatures Sunday will be falling from the low 60s in the morning to the upper 40s by the late afternoon.
