Winter Weather Advisory in effect through Monday morning.
A dusting to an inch is expected in the grass across most of central Kentucky, with 1" to 2" across most of eastern Kentucky by Monday morning.
Higher elevations near the Virginia state line could receive 2" to 4" by the time the final snowflakes exit to the east on Monday morning.
After an unseasonably cold start to the week, high pressure will bring sunshine back to the forecast for Tuesday, and temperatures will recover back into the more seasonable 50s.
Wednesday will be even milder, with highs in the lower 60s under partly sunny skies.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms will accompany mild, humid air on Thursday and Friday.
