Gusty showers and a few embedded thunderstorms will accompany a cold front today, with highs peaking near 73 degrees ahead of the front.  Winds will blow at 15-25 mph sustained, with higher gusts.  Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry across most of central Kentucky, but isolated showers will clip southeastern Kentucky as a wave of low pressure crosses the Southern Appalachians.  After a couple of days with highs in the 60s, we'll warm back up to 75 with partly sunny and dry weather on Thursday.  The next storm system will produce scattered showers and thunderstorms on Friday, with much cooler air returning this weekend as additional showers gradually taper off from west to east.
