Sunshine will mix with only a few thin, high clouds today across the Bluegrass Region. There are also some cumulus clouds forming across the higher ground of southeastern Kentucky. Temperatures will be more seasonable this afternoon, with readings hovering in the lower to middle 80s. Most areas will stay dry tonight, although a spotty sprinkle will be possible in southern Kentucky late. Central Kentucky should cool down to 61°. Increasingly warm, humid air will build into Kentucky, and from Friday through the middle of next week, highs will be in the middle to upper 80s. An isolated shower could occur in southern Kentucky on Friday, but isolated thunderstorms will be possible anywhere in the area on Saturday, Sunday and Monday afternoons. By Tuesday and Wednesday, spotty t-storm chances will be restricted to eastern Kentucky as a ridge of high pressure strengthens across the lower Ohio Valley.
