Dry, cool and very pleasant weather will continue through the afternoon with lots of sunshine, and only a few clouds. Temperatures will rise into the lower to middle 60s late this afternoon. A slow-moving front will lift north into Kentucky from Tennessee, producing a few isolated showers and thunderstorms tonight. It will be not as cold tonight, with lows closer to average, in the upper 40s. Scattered, strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible on Saturday, especially across the northern two-thirds of Kentucky. Highs will be in the lower 70s. The front will continue to waver north and south through the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys through the entire seven-day forecast, so showers and thunderstorms will be possible each day. After a cool Sunday with highs in the middle 60s, a warming trend will take us into the lower 80s for Wednesday and Thursday.
