The next three days will be hot with highs at or just barely above 90° through midweek. Skies will be bright, and central Kentucky will stay dry. A very isolated thunderstorm or two will be possible over southeastern Kentucky's mountains, today and Wednesday. Thursday will also be hot with highs near 90°, but a weakening cold front may spark a few thunderstorms in central Kentucky, late on Thursday and again on Friday. Temperatures will reach the middle to upper 80s on Friday and Saturday, and we'll be near 90° again on Sunday and Monday. Thunderstorms will be possible each afternoon or evening this weekend and into early next week, triggered by the afternoon heat.
