Unseasonably mild air will accompany scattered showers and even an isolated thunderstorm today as low pressure slides from the Midwest toward the Great Lakes. Widespread showers will give way to isolated late-day thunderstorms, with the best chance for a thunderstorm near Lake Cumberland. Highs will be in the upper 60s today, but the remainder of the week, through next weekend will be even warmer with highs in the lower to middle 70s. A series of weak disturbances will cross the area, and with warm, relatively humid air in place, spotty shower and thunderstorms will occur. Most of Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry, but rain chances will climb as humidity levels rise late in the week and into the weekend.
