LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky head football coach Joker Phillips said Monday that he did not anticipate pulling the redshirt off any of his freshmen at this point in the season unless an emergency situation dictates such a move. That means quarterback Thelteus "Bookie" Cobbins is likely to remain on the sideline for the remainder of his freshman season. Cobbins has been working at receiver the last few weeks as the coaching staff evaluated whether or not Cobbins could help the team this year - and provide a spark for a sputtering offense. UK receivers coach Tee Martin, who speaks from first-hand experience, explains why pulling Cobbins redshirt now could prove dangerous down the road.
