UK Not Perfect, But Trying To Be

Stoops says positive buzz around program fuels Cats to be better people on and off the field.
The football Cats have day one in the books and they'll be a few guys light moving forward.

Sophomore running back Dyshawn Mobley will be out until mid-August due to hernia surgery.

As we reported earlier at 6, two guys from that program-best recruiting class back in February, defensive end Alvonte Bell and offensive lineman Justin Day, will be headed down the junior college / prep school rout instead of coming to Lexington.

And there's likely more academic issues on the horizon dealing with some returning Cats as well.

Clearly the college kids are not perfect...but, the positive buzz around the program helps keep them working hard to be.

More from Stoops in the video.
