UK Football Looking To Own Louisville

Stoops and company aim to scoop top talent from Commonwealth's biggest city.
The UK football upper coaching staff brass was in Louisville today for the annual alumni luncheon.  The event brought out twice as many folks as last season's luncheon did.

In addition to trumpeting up the Solid Blue fan support once again and the usual there's no update at quarterback talk, Mark Stoops, offensive coordinator Neal Brown, and defensive coordinator D.J. Eliot all spoke about just how important the Commonwealth's largest city is to UK.

Namely, in recruiting, where the Cats swooped in and stole Louisville Trinity defensive end Jason Hatcher, who at one time was committed to USC, to head to Lexington beginning this fall.

More in the video from the three coaches on meaning business in the 'Ville.
