Young Cats have talent, but lack experience and depth. Sophomore A.J. Legree says it's tough growing up and the guys have to be reminded to amp up the effort.
Young players need to mature quickly in collegiate athletics.

New UK wide receivers coach Tommy Mainord is battling to get his understaffed receiving core up to speed for the spread offense and knows just how difficult it is to get kids to be adults.

Right now, there's good talent, but not a lot of experience or depth at the position.

Just 6 scholarship wideouts on the team.

At least one receiver appreciates the patience the coaching staff has in helping them grow as young men.
