Junior guard Jarrod Polson, a native of Nicholasville, Ky. may have shined brighter than ever, on the biggest stage he's ever played on this past Friday night.
The 6'2" , 190-pounder out of West Jessamine High School said he lost his confidence after playing the best talent in the country for two seasons in practice.
But headed into this year, Polson realized the experience from his first two collegiate campaigns should be making him more confident, not less.
So he worked harder than before and expected to play. Expected to contribute, not just rack up garbage time.
That's exactly what Polson did in the Cats 72-69 win over Maryland. Polson finished with 10 points, 3 assists, one steal and no turnovers. Not bad for a former walk-on.
