Even with the ACL tear, Nerlens Noel is still one of the 8 finalists for the Wayman Tisdale Freshman of the Year Award.
He averaged nearly a double, double, about 4.4 blocks, and 2.1 steals.
Noel is the only player 6'5 or higher ranking in the top 30 in steals.
Other finalists include Ben McLemore from Kansas, UCLA's Shabazz Muhammad, and OK ST's Marcus Smart.
