How'd Pancho Thomas get his name? That answer and comical comments from several of Kentucky's freshmen football players from media day.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky's freshmen football players will be off limits to the media during fall camp. So, Friday's media day offered the opportunity to hear from a few of the newcomers.

We learned how linebacker Pancho Thomas got his name.

We found out that Langston Newton hears "Morgan's little brother" quite a bit.

Six-foot-seven offensive lineman Jordan Swindle revealed, while he's a happy guy who smiles a lot, he's also a "nasty dude."

We noticed defensive back Sterling Wright from Miami also likes to show his pearly whites.

The twin sons of former Oklahoma Sooners basketball star Mookie Blaylock - Daron and Zack - are a pair of confident Cats.

Running back Dyshawn Mobley, who can deadlift 630 pounds, credits Kentucky's hospitable people with helping him to decide to become a Wildcat.

Louisville DuPont Manual defensive tackle Thomas Chapman said he got goose bumps putting on the uniform and standing on the Commonwealth Stadium turf.
