Dominique Hawkins is a guy who will develop over the next few seasons in Lexington.

The Richmond native and pride of Madison Central High School is cousins with UK undergrad assistant Marquis Estill, who also went to MCHS and of course played for the Cats.

Estill pitched Hawkins to assistant coach Orlando Antigua after seeing him play.

But it wasn't until the staff finally saw Hawkins during the Sweet 16 Tournament at Rupp Arena in March that he was really considered as a UK target.

Now, the family legacy gets to continue at UK, as Hawkins joins his big cousin at the Joe Craft Center.

More from Estill on the next MCHS to Lexington product in the video.
