How were the Cats able to land such a great class of 28 big-time signees to push UK into the top 20 in the nation for 2014?

This group's ability to stay together...despite being lured away by bigger and traditionally better programs was unique according to Mark Stoops.

Freshman QB Drew Barker was one of the big dominoes that helped land the best recruiting class in UK football history to date.

Barker, along with Matt Elam, showed other guys it was okay to not only pick Kentucky...but stick with the Cats all the way through signing their national letter of intent today.

Barker knows it proved something to the naysayers and doubters.

Hear from Stoops and Barker in the video.
