ABC 36 NEWS
I was first introduced to broadcast news at WIBW-TV in my hometown of Topeka, Kansas.  I quickly started covering human interest and feature stories as well.  It was a dream come true to work at the station I grew up watching and loving.

I am a member of Toastmasters International, the Lions Club service organization, and was appointed by Senator Sam Brownback to the Kansas Volunteer Commission.  For me there’s nothing better than helping someone else; I developed a service curriculum I shared with school districts, parks and rec departments, and Girl Scouts of America all over Kansas.  I was the top solo fundraiser for NE KS for the Muscular Dystrophy Association for 18 consecutive years, raising over $85,000 for MDA.  I’ve also organized small, grass root fundraisers for the Children’s Miracle Network, victims of Joplin & Reading tornado, tsunami victims, and a children’s school in Ghana.  I have volunteered and performed for over 30 charities.

In 2012 I moved to Gainesville Florida to start my graduate program at UF where I interned for the ABC affiliate there, WCJB-TV. In 2014 I moved to Lexington Kentucky to join the ABC36 WTVQ new team.
