Former Kentucky quarterback Andre Woodson will remain on the UK coaching staff as a graduate assistant and was out recruiting at Bourbon County High School on Thursday.
LEXINGTON, Ky. - Andre Woodson will continue in his role as a graduate assistant on the Kentucky football coaching staff under new head man Mark Stoops.
Woodson and the Wildcats' new offensive coordinator Neal Brown took a recruiting trip to Bourbon County High School on Thursday to visit Colonels running back Kentayvous Hopkins.
Hopkins holds offers from EKU, WKU and Bowling Green State.
Bourbon County head coach John Hodge told ABC 36 that UK did not offer Hopkins but will evaluate Hopkins to see if he fits the Cats' needs.
Hopkins had nearly 2,300 yards and 33 touchdowns rushing and receiving in his senior season to help lead Bourbon County to a 13-1 record and state semifinals finish.
