Current Morehead State head coach Sean Woods spoke today about his old school, Mississippi Valley State, receiving probation under the latest NCAA APR release.

Woods said MVSU, like many schools in the Southwestern Athletic Conference, has little in the way of resources to help players academically stay eligible.

In Morehead, it's still hard, but definitely better.

Bottom line according to Woods: keeping programs down isn't the best way to help them up.

Hear how Woods sees the NCAA's APR in the attached video.
