Kyle Wiltjer said it was a step in the direction the way Kentucky answered a 16-Oh Ole Miss run Tuesday night on the way to an 87-74 win.

OXFORD, MS - After Ole Miss whittled Kentucky's 73-56 lead down to one with a 16-Oh run, the Cats "stopped the bleeding" and went on a 14-2 run to close out the game.

Sophomore Kyle Wiltjer had a career-high 26 points for UK and said he was proud of his teammates for answering the Rebels' run. "It was a step in the right direction," Wiltjer said.
