Wicked Strong, named in honor of last year's Boston Marathon bombing victims, took home the Wood Memorial and its Boston-based owners have said they'll donate 5 percent of any Triple Crown earnings to a fund for the marathon bombing families.
Trainer Jimmy Jerkens...who at 55, has never won the Derby, hopes to win one for himself and his legendary father Allen Jerkens, who never one either, placing at best in sixth in 1978 with Sensitive Prince, and now, the city of Boston.
