In just a matter of a week, Jalen Whitlow went from starting quarterback to transfer.

The UK football coaching staff was set on moving Whitlow to receiver to better utilize him as Drew Barker and Patrick Towles start to separate themselves alongside Reese Phillips at QB.

No ill will from either side as the junior-to-be Whitlow heads out of Lexington, but it came as a surprise to many.

The guy Mark Stoops had said was his man just days ago is out.  And it's because he wouldn't do what Randall Cobb did in Lexington.

More in the video from Stoops, offensive coordinator and QB coach Neal Brown, and receiver position coach Tommy Mainord.
