Kentucky women's basketball coach Matthew Mitchell reacts to A'dia Mathies' Final Four prediction.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Following the No. 10 Kentucky women's basketball team win over No. 6 Duke Thursday night, junior guard A'dia Mathies was asked if she saw a Final Four in the Cats future this season. Mathies said she believed so, adding, "Denver, here we come." Denver is the host city of the 2012 women's Final Four.

Head coach Matthew Mitchell was asked about Mathies' comment on Friday. Mitchell joked saying he encourages that kind of boastful statement telling everyone just how good his team is. Mitchell then explained how UK has capitalized on its opportunities against top ten opponents, and because of that, doesn't view Mathies' comment as arrogance. Mitchell said he likes his team to have confidence and swagger, which he believes was behind Mathies' words.
