Well the blackout may have had the hype...but it was the Cats and their fans that left Commonwealth Stadium Saturday night in the dark after losing 28-16 to the Bulldogs.
The one positive note, the play of freshman quarterback Maxwell Smith. Smith completed 26 of 33 attempts, amassing 174 yards. The downside, he was sacked three times.
Still, with the offense sputtering, Smith may get another crack at being QB #1.
Next up for Kentucky (3-5, 0-4), Ole Miss on Saturday at 3:30. Game will be televised by ESPNU.
