A few Wildcats on what they know about Kentucky's basketball history, which former UK player and current Morehead State coach Sean Woods had called into question on Monday.

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Kentucky's Julius Mays said Sean Woods doesn't know enough about his teammates to judge them. Mays was responding to some controversial comments the former Wildcat and current Morehead State coach made on Monday.

Woods said today's college players don't know the history of the game the way he did at the same age. Woods also said he doubted any of UK's out-of-state players on this current roster could name any of the program's past greats.

On Tuesday, Mays said he knew of former Wildcat James Blackmon, who came from the same Indiana high school that Mays attended.

UK sophomore Kyle Wiltjer said it's kind of silly to expect Kentucky's players from all over the country to know much about UK's history because they've grown up following other schools.
