The basketball Cats will take on Georgetown College in an exhibition game this fall.

The other known game being UPike.  That means two great games against two of the top NAIA programs in the country, at Rupp Arena, in just a matter of months now.

It'll be the first time UK and G'town have hooked up since 2005.  A game UK won 85-63.  Junior Rekalin Sims had a team-high 22 points, 14 coming in the first half.

That's when Happy Osborne was coaching the Tigers.  Now it's the one-time UK manager and Osborne assistant, Chris Briggs, at the helm who will lead the black and orange against UK.

More UK hoops news for you.  Julius Randle will attend the NBA combine, but only take a physical and interview with GM's.  No drills for Randle.

Meanwhile, James Young will participate in anything he can to help boost his draft stock.

The combine starts Wednesday in Chicago...and can be seen on NBA TV.

More on Sims big game vs. G'Town in the second attached video.
