The 139th running of the Preakness Stakes is still a few weeks away.

Saturday, May 17th is the date for the second leg of the Triple Crown this year.

Victor Espinoza was the jockey aboard California Chrome in the Run for the Roses over the weekend.  Taking the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs.

It was Espinoza's second Derby victory.  The first coming back in 2002 aboard War Emblem.

But with all eyes now on California Chrome headed to Pimlico, what about the mile and a quarter trip seen through the eyes of another rider?

Not another jockey in the race, but regular exercise rider William Delgado, who spends more time with the newest member to the Derby winner's circle than anyone else.

Hear from (and see) Delgado trackside as he celebrates (and gets restrained) during Derby 140, in the video.
